Community workshops and pop-up events are an important part of the project.  Future workshops and events will be posted once the date, time, and location have been finalized. We encourage your attendance at the community workshops and events throughout the process!

Upcoming Pop-Up Events

Each October Pop-up event will gather community input on the district maps chosen by the Council at the October 8, 2019 City Council meeting. Participants will be asked to provide feedback and prioritize their top three maps. Community input from the October Pop-up events will be presented to the City Council for consideration when they further refine the number of maps at the November 5 and November 12 Council hearings.

  • Community Workshop: Map Drawing

    September 26, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Sunnyvale Community Center - Community Room, 550 E. Remington Dr, Sunnyvale

    This workshop asked the public for input on the maps selected by Council on September 10, 2019, and educated residents on how to refine maps already submitted based on Council direction. The deadline to submit revised maps was Sunday, September 29, 2019.

  • Pop-Up Event

    September 14, 2019 at 10:00 am at Sunnyvale State of the City - Downtown, Murphy Ave, Sunnyvale

    Visitors to the State of the City Pop-up booth were provided an overview of the September 10, 2019 Council direction, and asked to prioritize their top three of seven maps. The image below reflects the results of the dot exercise at this Pop-up event.
