  • Council Hearing #1 – Tuesday, September 10, 2019. At this meeting, the Council provided feedback on the 26 submitted maps, and narrowed the selection down to seven preferred maps.
  • CAC Meeting #5: Phase II Outreach Check-in – Thursday, September 19, 2019. The CAC heard a summary of the September 20 Council direction and the State of the City Pop-up event. The CAC also provided suggestions on how to enhance future public outreach strategies.
  • Map-drawing Workshop – Thursday, September 26, 2019. This workshop asked the public for input on the maps selected by Council on September 10, 2019, and educated residents on how to refine maps already submitted based on Council direction. The deadline to submit revised maps was Sunday, September 29, 2019.
  • Refined Map Submission Deadline – Sunday, September 29, 2019 
  • Council Hearing #2 – Tuesday, October 8, 2019. At this meeting, the Council received a summary of the public input on the initial draft maps and review new maps submitted by the public and project demographer. The Council provided input on the refined maps. These maps were shared with the community for review and comment during the October Pop-up events described below.
  • Pop-up Events and Online Engagement – October 2019. Each October Pop-up event educated the community on the maps selected by Council on October 8, 2019 and asked the community for feedback. Participants were also be asked to prioritize their top three maps. Community input from the October Pop-up events was presented to the City Council when they further refined the number of maps at the November 5 and November 12 Council hearings.
  • Council Hearing #3 – Tuesday, November 5, 2019. The City Council received a summary of the public input received throughout October and were asked to move forward two to three maps.
  • Council Hearing #4 – Tuesday, November 12, 2019. The City Council was asked to choose one final map for adoption.
  • Council Hearing #5 – Tuesday, December 3, 2019. The City Council conducted a first reading of the Map Adoption Ordinance.
  • Council Hearing #6 – Tuesday, December 10, 2019. The City Council conducted the second reading of the Map Adoption Ordinance.
